Following the release of his most recent film, Jawan, Shahrukh Khan allegedly complained to the Indian authorities about receiving death threats.
The Maharashtra government allegedly claimed that Shahrukh sent them a written complaint dated October 5 before ordering the police to up the actor’s protection to Y+ category.
According to reports, the Bollywood king informed the authorities that the amount of death threats increased following the release of Jawan and Pathan last year.
According to media Express, the Maharashtra State Intelligence Department (SID) issued a directive to all police commissioners, district police, and special protection units (SPUs) directing them to immediately provide “Y+ with an escort scale of security.”
Eleven security people, six commandos, four police officers, and a traffic control vehicle make up the Y+ category. Police officers have also been posted at Mannat, his house in Mumbai.
Two individuals burst past the outer wall of Mannat’s premises earlier this year, and they were ultimately apprehended by the security personnel.
