After collaborating on the films “Dilwale” (2015) and “Chennai Express” (2013), Rohit Shetty and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan haven’t worked together, leading to speculations of a potential rift. In an interview with the Lallantop,

Shetty addressed these rumours, providing further insight into the dynamics of their professional relationship and dispelling any misconceptions about a conflict between them,

Shetty said, There’s nothing like that,” rejecting the idea of strife. He explained that the secret to their partnership is coming up with a great tale, and he expressed his eagerness to collaborate with Khan once more if a project emerged that was even more successful than Chennai Express.

If we have to collaborate and I receive a compelling plot, it ought to be superior to Chennai Express. That is the most crucial factor. We will collaborate without a doubt if something similar arises, Shetty said.

In addition, Shetty provided details about his father, Bollywood stuntman MB Shetty. He related a tragic occurrence that happened on the sets of Bombay 405 Miles, in which a stuntman named Mansoor died due to a misunderstanding during a stunt scene.

The stuntman caught fire when Shetty’s father, who was meant to signal for a petrol burst, unintentionally tapped the wrong person.

Taking accountability, Shetty’s father experienced failures in his personal and professional life, which ultimately resulted in his death.
