As the nation embraces cricket fever, Rastah captures the excitement with a new collection blending sporty nostalgia and streetwear. The brand’s latest campaign features Wasim Akram and his son, Akbar Akram. They showcase a green-centric collection of sweatshirts, hoodies, bomber jackets, and T-shirts.

The fashion brand proudly declared on Instagram, “It’s cricket season! Wasim Akram is an icon in the sports world.” The post continued, saying, “Growing up, we dreamed of being like him, and now we’re collaborating with him. The campaign beautifully highlights the bond he shares with Akbar.”

In the photos, the father-son duo wears deep green outfits, accented with yellow and white. Their “Pakistan” emblazoned pieces capture the essence of a cricketer’s kit. Rastah also captured Wasim and Akbar in black and grey casualwear. The pair posed separately and shared smiles during the shoot.

On Tuesday, Wasim expressed his pride in his son’s modeling debut on Instagram. He wrote, “I’m so proud of my son and the man he has become.”

Rastah, launched in 2018, has dressed global stars from Bollywood to Hollywood. The brand’s influence continues to grow with each campaign.

In December, Yo Yo Honey Singh wore Rastah’s emerald green leather suit. The jacket, made of green hair-on leather, featured metallic studs and a handmade polymer clay zip. Paired with wide-legged trousers, the look exuded urban sophistication, complemented with black leather gloves and rectangular-framed glasses.

Timothée Chalamet wore Rastah’s brown sweatshirt and pants in Los Angeles. Bollywood’s Anil Kapoor wore the ‘Hand-woven Dot Jacket’ at a movie premiere.
