Vidya Balan revealed during a recent podcast interview that she has also experienced nepotism in Bollywood, which became apparent when she was “bullied” at the 2008 Filmfare Awards following a rather successful year.
It’s important to note that the “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” actress received the Na-Real award for her ensemble in Sajid Khan’s “Heyy Babyy” during the programme.
Speaking about the same subject, Balan remarked, “I asked, ‘Why me?’ when they told me I was going to receive the Na-Real award. You do realise that I don’t merely choose what to wear?
However, I was too new to have an opinion at that point. “No, we’re just doing this fun segment so we’re going to give you this award,” they responded.

The actress continued by naming the director and costume designer, who Balan revealed “got her into trouble,” after learning that another actress who was supposed to receive the award with her had withdrawn at the last minute.
As a result, she was the only one to receive the embarrassing prize.
“Within the fraternity or whatever, their supporters, their friends, there were reactions,” She Revealed.
