Sheheryar Munawar and Maheen Siddiqui have officially tied the knot in an intimate Nikkah ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. The event showcased heartfelt moments as the couple signed their marriage certificate. Sheheryar looked dashing in a cream sherwani with gold accents and a matching turban, while Maheen radiated elegance in a white and gold ensemble. Images and videos of the occasion quickly made rounds on social media, delighting fans.
The festivities kicked off with a vibrant dholki night, where Sheheryar and Maheen celebrated joyfully with their loved ones. Maheen dazzled in a traditional orange and yellow outfit, while Sheheryar chose a brown embroidered kurta. Renowned singers Ali Hamza and Jimmy Khan added magic to the evening, filling the air with music. This lively start set the tone for a series of memorable events.
Next came the Mayun ceremony, hosted by the bride’s family, followed by the grand Shabe Mosiqi, a spectacular Sangeet night. The evening featured stellar dance performances by actors Sanam Saeed, Ahad Raza Mir, and others. A highlight of the night was a reunion of the Ho Mann Jahaan cast, where Sheheryar, Mahira Khan, and Adeel Hussain recreated their iconic “Shakar Wandaan Re” performance, much to the crowd’s delight.
On December 20, the Qawwali night brought the celebrations to a crescendo. Renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan delivered an unforgettable performance. Sheheryar later expressed his gratitude on Instagram, writing, “Endless gratitude to our wonderful friends for an unforgettable qawwali night! The music, laughter, and joy of being surrounded by family and friends made it magical.”
Earlier, during a July podcast, Sheheryar hinted at exciting times ahead, asking for prayers and emphasizing his desire to keep this journey private yet meaningful.
