The talented former Pakistani cricket players Shahid Afridi and Mushtaq Ahmed are analysts on Samaa Tv’s cricket programme Zor Ka Jor.

They both like talking about how the Pakistani cricket team is doing in the international series. They recently appeared in a PSl special transmission of the Sina Pasha-hosted programme “Zor Ka Jor.”

The senior cast members of the show recently called for self-censorship on social media and in the media.

Shahid Afridi said, “The players more often face public hooting like Baber faced, Amir faced, and now the same happened to Imad.

Nowadays, media is everywhere, and social media is another curse on people,” in response to the host bringing up the subject of Imad Wasim being targeted by Babar Azam’s fans.

Why are these social media trolls invisible to us in real life? I have never encountered them in person and they have never come across me.

Additionally, Mushtaq Ahmed stated, “We teach our kids in this programme not to judge players or celebrities based solely on trolling on social media because they are real people with real struggles.” Since they have families, we ought to avoid being critical of them.

Despite all that is going on with individuals all around the world, we hardly ever see any bad news on international news channels.

Even in Pakistan, we report about stray dogs drowning in the ocean; therefore, we must present a positive picture of our nation and practise self-censorship,
