Qarz e Jaan recently wrapped up with a powerful finale, leaving viewers emotional and deeply impacted. The drama continues to make waves for its compelling writing and memorable performances. Director Saqib Khan, known for his work on Tumharey Husn Ke Naam, Khushboo Mein Basay Khat, and Fraud, has received widespread praise for bringing this story to life with such realism and beauty. He’s also married to actress Uroosa Siddiqui, adding another layer of interest to his personal and professional narrative.

Following the conclusion of the series, Saqib Khan took to Instagram to express his gratitude. He applauded the entire cast, acknowledging the efforts of Nameer Khan, Sakina Samo, Deepak Perwani, Faisal Rehman, Tazeen Hussain, and Usama Khan. According to the director, each of them played a significant role in making Qarz e Jaan the powerful story that resonated with so many.

However, it was Yumna Zaidi—who played the lead role of Nashwa Behzaad—who received the most heartfelt appreciation. Saqib revealed that casting Yumna was a non-negotiable decision for him. He believed no one else could embody Nashwa the way she did. Initially, the drama was supposed to be shot in Swat to reflect its rural essence, but last-minute challenges forced the team to urbanize the script. Despite these changes, Yumna’s performance brought authenticity and depth to the character.

The script stayed with Saqib Khan for two years before finally making it to television screens. He highlighted Yumna’s grace and professionalism, especially in how she supported and elevated her less-experienced co-stars. Her contribution, according to Saqib, was pivotal in shaping the drama’s emotional core.

Clearly, Qarz e Jaan owes much of its success to its strong vision and powerful lead.
