Sana Askari, a prominent actress in the Pakistani drama industry, is famous for her candid nature and vibrant personality. Having worked in several television dramas and live transmissions, she has built a strong rapport with her fans. Sana is unapologetically herself, often speaking her mind without filters. She describes herself as an “introverted extrovert,” preferring to stay in her own world.

Recently, the debate surrounding Pakistani stars working in Bollywood has sparked significant attention. The news of Fawad Khan’s role in Abir Gulaal and Hania Aamir’s appearance in Sardaar Ji 3 led to mixed reactions on both sides of the border. After the three-day stand-off, the authorities removed several Pakistani stars from film posters and imposed a ban on them. The Indian government blocked Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, and Mawra Hocane, along with other stars, on Instagram.

During her appearance on FHM, Sana shared her thoughts on Pakistani stars’ excessive admiration for Bollywood. She pointed out that the industry abruptly shelved Fawad Khan’s upcoming film, highlighting India’s lack of respect for Pakistani talent.Sana emphasized that working in India should have been a two-way street.

Pakistani stars should be able to work there, but Indian stars should also be able to work in Pakistan. She stressed that actors should work only where they receive respect, which, according to her, doesn’t happen in India. “Our stars are always eager to work in Bollywood, even if it’s just to make a cameo, and that’s unfortunate,” she said.

Sana also shared her views on the YouTubers vs. Actors controversy. She believes that one earns respect, and fame comes from where Allah destines it. She advises actors not to criticize vloggers, as she herself follows several international vloggers and learns from their content. Sana advocates for positivity and unity in the entertainment industry, urging individuals not to speak negatively about one another.
