Omair Rana Said Game Shows are Against the Spirit of Ramadan

Talented Pakistani actor Omair Rana is well-known for his outstanding performances. Omair started his career in show business as a theatre actor and director, but he became well-known for his roles in dramas on television, such as “Pyar Kay Sadqay,” “Zan Mureed,” “Dil Na Umeed to Nahi,” “Sange Mar Mar,” “Hum Kahan Ke Sache Thay,” and “Sang E Mah.”

Omair Rana discussed topics related to Ramadan in the programme. According to him, the game illustrates how the spirit of the holy month which is meant to encourage humility, humanity, empathy, and love rather than gluttony and greed is at odds with what the game represents.

“We should not encourage gluttony and greed, instead we should promote empathy and kindness,” he stated, referring to the game shows’ anti-Ramadan themes. “I do have a distasteful or unpleasant after taste of the Ramadan game shows.

According to him, programming during Ramadan need to be appropriate for the time of year.

The talented actor also discussed his next Ramadan play, which has a distinct plot and importance to the month of Ramadan. Yasra Rizvi is the director of his drama “Chand Nagar.”
