Nida Yasir, one of Pakistan’s most recognized morning show hosts, continues to grab attention with her candid on-air conversations. Known for hosting Good Morning Pakistan on ARY Digital for over 15 years, Nida has built a strong fan base, including 2.6 million Instagram followers. Besides hosting, she has also made her mark as a producer with notable projects like Chakkar, Mehrunissa V Lub U, Wrong Number, and Nadaniyan. Married to actor and director Yasir Nawaz, Nida is also a mother of three.
Recently, Nida turned heads during a segment on her morning show where the topic was “Cheating.” In a surprising twist, she shared her own experiences of cheating during school exams, leaving fans both amused and stunned.

She recalled, “In our Pakistan Studies class test, I wrote a detailed cheating note but couldn’t use it because the teacher stood right next to me. In my panic, I accidentally slipped it into my test copy. The teacher found it, showed it to the entire class, and called me out, saying, ‘You don’t even know how to cheat properly.’”
Nida continued, “Later, during our final exams, we prepared guess questions which didn’t appear on the paper. I panicked again, brought in a past paper book, and tried to sneak a peek. The teacher caught me red-handed and stopped me from attempting further. I had no choice but to write from memory.”

However, her candid confession didn’t sit well with viewers. Many criticized the segment, calling it irresponsible. One user commented, “It reflects poorly on the education system.” Another stated, “She’s normalizing cheating.” Others expressed concern over the repetitive and controversial content of the show.

While Nida aimed to share a humorous memory, the public reaction suggests otherwise—highlighting the fine line between honesty and poor judgment on national television.
