After her famous depiction of Rubab came to an end with a highly awaited episode of the popular drama series, prominent actress Naeema Butt said goodbye to Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum in a lighthearted video. Naeema, who portrayed Adeel’s wife (Emaad Irfani), posted a message on Instagram for her followers that included tips on how to handle unfaithful spouses.
“If I have inspired just one person by portraying Rubab as a strong woman, my job is done,” She wrote in the post’s caption. She highlighted the importance of detachment when relationships get problematic. “Life is the only constant; it is always moving and never stops for anyone,” she said, adding, “Go with the flow and avoid getting stuck in past relationships.”
She also encouraged her fans to watch her YouTube short film, which tackles the subject of infidelity.
The current drama series Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, which also stars Fahad Mustafa as Mustafa and Hania Aamir as Sharjeena, impressed viewers with Naeema Butt’s outstanding portrayal as Rubab Mansoor Khan.
She played a strong businesswoman married to Mustafa’s brother, Adeel. However, his fraudulent activities and affair with her closest friend angered her, leading her to quit their relationship and publicly humiliate her husband by throwing a birthday party for him.
Following the explosive events of episodes 32 and 33, Naeema Butt took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to bid farewell to her legendary character, Rubab Mansoor Khan. Rubab’s story came to a dramatic finish with her character’s final act of revenge against her on-screen husband, Adeel (played by Emmad Irfani), for both business fraud and infidelity with her best friend, Natasha (Areej Chaudhary).
Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, directed by Badar Mehmood and written by celebrated writer Farhat Ishtiaq, airs in prime time on ARY Digital every Monday and Tuesday. The final episode of Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum is scheduled to air on November 5, 2024.
