Pakistani celebrities Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir, and Fawad Khan have raised their voices against India’s recent deadly missile attacks on Pakistan. These strikes claimed the lives of 26 civilians, including children, and left at least 46 others injured. The overnight airstrikes targeted multiple civilian areas, drawing widespread condemnation from Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
Mahira Khan reacted by resharing a tweet from author Fatima Bhutto that denounced the attacks. On Instagram, Mahira added, “This is seriously cowardly. May Allah protect our country, may better sense prevail. Ameen.”

Actress Hania Aamir also took a stand, writing, “You don’t bomb innocent people and call it strategy,” criticizing the attacks and highlighting the inhumanity of targeting civilians. Fawad Khan echoed similar sentiments in his Instagram story, calling the act “shameful.” He added, “May better sense prevail. Inshallah. Pakistan Zindabad.”

The backlash comes after India claimed the strikes were retaliation for the April 22 incident in Pahalgam, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). However, India has yet to provide concrete evidence linking Pakistan to the incident.
Meanwhile, the Director General of ISPR confirmed that India launched 24 missile strikes on six different sites within Pakistani territory. In Ahmedpur East, Bahawalpur, 13 civilians, including two three-year-old girls, seven women, and four men, lost their lives. An additional 37 people, including nine women and 28 men, were injured.
In another attack near Muzaffarabad, an airstrike on the Bilal Mosque killed three people and injured two children — a girl and a boy.
Previously, India had banned social media accounts of several Pakistani celebrities, including Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, and Ali Zafar.
As tensions rise, Pakistani stars continue to use their platforms to call for peace and justice while mourning the innocent lives lost.
