Instagram influencer Kashaf Ali has shut down speculation about her rumored relationship with cricketer Saim Ayub, calling the claims “baseless” and “unnecessary gossip.”
Recently, a video surfaced online showing Ayub and Ali spending time together in London. The clip, which captured them at a bowling alley chatting and taking selfies, quickly fueled dating rumors. As the video gained traction, fans speculated about a possible connection between the two.
Addressing the controversy on Instagram, Kashaf Ali criticized both the media and the public for focusing on irrelevant matters. She pointed out that while the country faces pressing issues, people choose to spread baseless gossip instead.
“There are countless important issues in our country, yet people prefer discussing irrelevant things,” she stated. Dismissing the dating rumors, she emphasized that the video was being blown out of proportion.
“You don’t know the person in the video, just like you don’t know me. It’s ridiculous how people create stories based on assumptions,” she remarked.
Meanwhile, Saim Ayub, 22, is currently in London recovering from an ankle injury that ruled him out of the ICC Champions Trophy. His stay in the UK, combined with Kashaf Ali’s recent social media activity, added to the speculation that they were spending time together.
Although neither of them has officially confirmed any relationship, the viral video remains a trending topic, drawing mixed reactions from fans. This incident is not the first time Saim Ayub has made headlines for reasons beyond cricket. Earlier, he faced criticism for ignoring a journalist at a charity event in London, sparking online debate.
Despite the ongoing rumors, Kashaf Ali insists that the clip was nothing more than a casual moment taken out of context. “There’s nothing to discuss here. People should focus on real issues instead of creating unnecessary drama,” she added.
