Green Entertainment’s first commercially successful project, Iqtidar, has come to an end. Written by Hina Huma Nafees and directed by Fahim Burney, the drama aired every Thursday and Friday at 8:00 PM. With a stellar cast including Anmol Baloch, Ali Raza, Rubina Ashraf, Hareem Sohail, Emaan Khan, Roma Michelle, and Javed Sheikh, the show quickly gained popularity. The story followed Mehrunnisa, a fearless young woman, and her marriage to the ambitious politician Shahnawaz.

Today, the highly anticipated final episode aired and concluded on a happy note. Many viewers appreciated the positive ending and felt it wrapped up the narrative well. Performances by Anmol Baloch, Ali Raza, and Rubina Ashraf stood out, receiving particular praise for their emotional depth and on-screen presence.

Fans admired the romantic moments between Mehrunnisa and Shahnawaz, calling them heartwarming. One viewer expressed, “The way they hugged and confessed their love—we waited so long for this.” Another fan wrote, “We need another drama with Ali and Anmol. Their chemistry is unmatched.”

However, not everyone was pleased. Some felt the finale was overly optimistic and lacked the emotional depth expected from a long-running drama. A fan commented, “They gave us 60 episodes of hardships and one episode of joy—it felt unbalanced.” Another viewer added, “The ending was boring. Someone’s death would have made it more realistic.”

Viewers also praised the transformation of Arooj and Rafay, calling it meaningful and well-executed. Still, a few social media users criticized the mid-series pacing. “The first half was great, but then it dragged with too many moral lectures,” one fan noted.

Despite mixed reviews, Iqtidar left a strong impression—proving that Green Entertainment has what it takes to deliver compelling stories that spark discussion.
