Love Guru is an upcoming Pakistani romantic comedy set to release on Eid ul Azha 2025. Directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Vasay Chaudhry, the film stars Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed in lead roles. It tells the story of a self-proclaimed love guru who becomes entangled with Sofia, a London-based architect. Produced by ARY Films and Six Sigma Plus, with Salman Iqbal as executive producer, the movie was filmed in London and Karachi. Fans are already excited about the star-studded cast and the film’s humorous trailer.

Currently, Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan are in the USA promoting Love Guru. During interviews, they addressed various questions about the film. When asked about the budget, Humayun Saeed revealed, “The budget wasn’t that big — we spent 28 crores on this movie. It’s a Pakistani film, so compared to Bollywood, this amount is modest. Even our TV dramas have very limited budgets. Instead of focusing on the budget, ask yourself if the quality is good. The film should look like a 100 crore movie, even if the budget is just 30.”
Fans appreciated this candidness, highlighting that despite limited budgets, Pakistani dramas and films maintain exceptional quality. Saeed also stressed the need for more screens to improve box office success. “Films that performed well, such as Maula Jatt, JPNA 2, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, and London Nahi Jaunga, released on just 100 to 120 screens. Imagine the impact if we had more screens. Ultimately, people come to watch quality content,” he said.

This perspective emphasizes how the Pakistani film industry balances limited resources with high-quality storytelling. With Love Guru’s release approaching, expectations are high for both its entertainment value and production quality. The combination of renowned talent, engaging plot, and solid promotion suggests that this film could be a significant addition to Pakistan’s cinematic landscape. Fans eagerly await its debut on Eid ul Azha 2025.
