Love Guru is an upcoming Pakistani romantic comedy set to release on Eid ul Azha 2025. When asked about the budget, Humayun Saeed revealed, “The budget wasn’t that big — we spent 28 crores on this movie. It’s a Pakistani film, so compared to Bollywood, this amount is modest. Even our TV dramas have very limited budgets. Instead of focusing on the budget, ask yourself if the quality is good. The film should look like a 100 crore movie, even if the budget is just 30.”
Fans appreciated this candidness, highlighting that despite limited budgets, Pakistani dramas and films maintain exceptional quality. Saeed also stressed the need for more screens to improve box office success. “Films that performed well, such as Maula Jatt, JPNA 2, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, and London Nahi Jaunga, released on just 100 to 120 screens. Imagine the impact if we had more screens. Ultimately, people come to watch quality content,” he said.
