Humayoun Ashraf, the charming and versatile Pakistani actor, has won hearts through his compelling performances in hit dramas like Khuda Aur Muhabbat, Rang Mahal, Mere Damad, Intiqam, and Mushkil. His recent projects Naqaab and Ilzam e Ishq have further solidified his place in the industry, earning him critical acclaim and public appreciation.
Recently, the actor appeared on Fuchsia Magazine’s YouTube show, where he candidly spoke about his decision to remain unmarried. When asked why he hasn’t tied the knot yet, Humayoun stated, “Marriage is a beautiful bond that deserves the right protocols. I won’t get married in secret. When I do, it will be a public celebration. Right now, I simply don’t feel like getting married.”
Moreover, he explained the challenges that come with delaying marriage. “People who stay single longer often struggle to adjust after marriage,” he said. “We observe others’ experiences and learn. These days, living with someone who doesn’t know how to compromise is tough. Expectations are high, and people complain about things like, ‘You’ve changed.’ But the truth is, they were only showing a different side of themselves before marriage.”

He emphasized the importance of being realistic in relationships. “We forget to think practically. Before marriage, someone might say ‘You look beautiful’ just to please their partner, but stop after tying the knot. That doesn’t mean they’ve changed—it means their intentions weren’t sustainable. No relationship can work without a practical mindset. You can’t expect someone to completely change.”
His honest take on marriage resonated with fans, who appreciated his mature perspective. While many admire his bachelor status, others are curious to see when and with whom Humayoun will finally take the plunge. Until then, he remains focused on his career—and unapologetically single.
