Not only has American pop star Taylor Swift been in the news for her sold-out Eras tour, its recently released documentary film, and her lead relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, but also for rumors that she will make her MCU debut as the sound-powered singer mutant Dazzler in the upcoming “Deadpool” threequel.
The photographs that went viral of Swift with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman from the movie when the three attended Kelce’s NFL game together earlier this month added fuel to these rumours.
Levy, the film’s Emmy and BAFTA-nominated director, has now officially addressed these allegations.
In a recent interview, Levy was asked about the singer’s potential role in the title and he responded, “No comment since that’s a double whammy. That has to do with Taylor. The MCU is involved, too. I’m not a moron.
Levy ended his cryptic statement by saying that fans “have to wait and see” to learn whether Swift will feature in the third installment of “Deadpool” or not.
Regarding the Shawn Levy-directed superhero movie, Hollywood A-listers Reynolds and Jackman make their on-screen comeback after a lengthy 14 years.
In supporting parts, it also has Morena Baccarin, Jennifer Garner, and Brianna Hildebrand.
