Beena Chaudhary, a respected name in the Pakistani television industry, began her career 17 years ago with Radio Pakistan. She made her TV debut with the classic PTV drama Chunri and later starred in several acclaimed serials, including Siyani and Girhen. Her daughter, Hareem Sohail, is now following in her footsteps and gaining recognition for her role in the ongoing drama Iqtidar.
The mother-daughter duo recently appeared on Good Morning Pakistan, where they shared the heartwarming story behind Hareem’s marriage proposal. Hareem candidly said, “It’s a love marriage, but my mother will explain it better.”

Beena Chaudhary took the spotlight and revealed how Hareem met her now-husband, Rayan. “Hareem’s friend Zainab introduced them—Rayan was Zainab’s friend and senior. After meeting a few times, Rayan proposed to Hareem,” she shared. To everyone’s surprise, Hareem initially turned down the proposal.
Beena explained that she stepped in as a guide and confidante. “I told her Rayan is a decent man and will prove to be a responsible husband,” she added. Hareem, reflecting on that time, said, “I was just 20, and he was four years older. I didn’t want to marry so young, and I didn’t believe in love at first sight back then.”
She went on to describe Rayan as a focused and career-oriented person who works as a Sales and Marketing Director.
Beena also shared the values she passed on to her daughter. “Hareem has always been obedient. Even when I scold her, she never raises her voice. I told her to respect her in-laws, treat them kindly, and consider them like her own parents,” she said proudly.

Their story blends love, respect, and family guidance—making it both inspiring and relatable for today’s generation.
