Alizeh Shah Shares Her Thoughts on Qurbani This Eid

Alizeh Shah, known for her honest opinions and emotional nature, recently shared a heartfelt message ahead of Eid ul Adha. With over 4.3 million Instagram followers, the actress—famous for hit dramas like Ishq Tamasha, Ehd-e-Wafa, Dil Moum Ka Diya, Khel, and Muhabbat Ki Akhri Kahani—often uses her platform to express personal reflections.

This time, she voiced her concerns about Qurbani (animal sacrifice) during Eid ul Adha. While she respects the religious importance of the ritual, she highlighted the emotional impact it has on her. In an Instagram note, Alizeh explained, “This is not a criticism—just a gentle voice sharing a different perspective.”

She acknowledged that Qurbani is a Sunnah based on Prophet Ibrahim’s (A.S.) submission to Allah’s will. However, she emphasized that Islam only requires sacrifice from those who are financially able—and even then, only once in a lifetime. According to Alizeh, this sacred act sometimes feels overshadowed by social displays and competition.

Moreover, she expressed distress over the visible suffering of animals on the streets. “Every year, I see blood, fear in animals’ eyes, and hear their cries. My heart breaks,” she wrote. She urged people to treat animals with compassion, noting that they feel pain, love, and fear—just like humans.

Alizeh also criticized the insensitive sharing of sacrifice images and memes online. “Let’s shift the focus from numbers and size to empathy, humility, and mercy,” she added.

Importantly, she clarified that her message reflects her personal view and respects everyone’s beliefs. “Islam teaches kindness—to humans and animals. That is the true Sunnah of our Prophet (PBUH).”

Her post resonated with many followers, sparking thoughtful dialogue about compassion, faith, and responsible celebration.
