LAHORE: The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 celebrations officially begin tonight with electrifying live performances Stadium Event by Ali Zafar, Aima Baig, and Arif Lohar. The festivities will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display at the grand reopening of the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will attend the event as the chief guest and officially inaugurate the redesigned stadium. Organizers have transformed the venue with extensive upgrades to enhance the match-day experience for both players and spectators.
To maximize fan engagement, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced free entry for all spectators. Gates will open at 5:30 PM, while the grand reopening ceremony will commence at 7 PM. However, officials have confirmed that the Imran Khan enclosure will remain closed to the public.
Expanding the celebrations beyond Lahore, PCB has also planned a special event at Karachi’s National Stadium. President Asif Ali Zardari will attend as the chief guest, adding further prestige to the occasion.
