As India-Pakistan tensions continue to rise, actor Ahsan Mohsin Ikram directly called out the Indian media for spreading misinformation, accusing it of engaging in “emotional engineering.”
IOn Wednesday night, the Indian military launched airstrikes targeting six locations in Pakistan, including Sialkot, Bahawalpur, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. In response, Pakistan swiftly shot down five Indian jets and destroyed a brigade headquarters and military check post along the Line of Control.
Then, on Thursday, Pakistan intercepted and destroyed 25 Indian drones that had violated its airspace. Meanwhile, the Indian media circulated a wave of unverified reports, falsely claiming that India’s air defence systems shot down Pakistani jets and that attacks occurred in Jammu and Punjab. Despite repeated assertions, no visual evidence supported these claims.
Moreover, Pakistani authorities, including Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, rejected the misinformation. He clarified that India had not downed any Pakistani jets, including F-16s or JF-17s. The Foreign Office also issued a statement, strongly dismissing India’s baseless accusations about Pakistani strikes on Pathankot, Jaisalmer, and Srinagar.
In reaction to these developments, Ahsan Mohsin Ikram voiced his frustration on Instagram. He wrote, “The Modi regime has mastered emotional engineering. With relentless propaganda, they’ve built a narrative where India plays the eternal victim. And if anyone questions the government or military, they brand it as treason.”
Ultimately, Ikram urged followers to recognize the dangers of unchecked media narratives and called for more critical thinking amid escalating conflict.

The Parchayee actor added that the most heartbreaking aspect was how intelligent and compassionate individuals had been swept up in the wave of propaganda. He explained that the Indian strikes on Pakistan, along with the rhetoric used to justify them, followed a familiar pattern. “It’s the same old playbook we’ve witnessed for years: a tragedy occurs, Pakistan gets blamed, targets are bombed, and political support is rallied,” he stated.
He emphasized that this strategy was a textbook example of how authoritarian regimes operate.

He wrote, “Godi media, you may continue lying and deceiving your own people, but you won’t be able to fool the world.”

Ahsan Mohsin Ikram stated that Pakistanis slept peacefully, protected by brave armed forces defending the nation across land, sea, and air.
He urged, “Continue to pray for our soldiers tonight and every night that follows.” He also warned, “We will deliver our surprise exactly when and where we choose.”
This statement aligned with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar’s message to EU High Representative Kaja Kallas, affirming that Pakistan retains the right to respond to Indian aggression on its own terms, under Article 51 of the UN Charter.
Finally, Ikram added with confidence, “Tomorrow, the world will laugh at India’s false claims—and we will laugh the loudest.”

Ahsan Mohsin Ikram strongly criticized the Indian media for spreading disinformation during the recent conflict. He stated, “After what Indian media did tonight, they will have to face the world tomorrow with lies they can’t prove—because they never had any proof in the first place.”
He went on to say that India “killed” its own journalism on a global stage, destroying any remaining credibility in the eyes of the international community.
Moreover, Ikram compared India’s media tactics to the classic fable of The Boy Who Cried Wolf, concluding, “India has become that boy—lying so often that no one will believe them anymore.”
