In a candid interview, model Wajdan Rao, who gained significant fame by collaborating with Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, has expressed her disappointment and frustration with the artist.
Waj Rao revealed that she has worked with Chahat Fateh Ali Khan on four songs, with “Badi Badi” being their fifth collaboration.
Despite the success and visibility these collaborations brought her, Waj Rao now regrets her decision to work with him.
According to Waj Rao, her experience with Chahat Fateh Ali Khan was far from ideal. She claims that the promise of payment and provisions were not met.
“He only paid me 5000 and provided food, which is false. I got nothing but the title of working with a man who could be my grandfather,” she lamented.
Waj Rao’s frustration doesn’t end there. She criticizes Chahat Fateh Ali Khan for his age, expressing discomfort with the public’s perception of their professional relationship.
She further disclosed that she is particularly upset with his latest statements, which she finds unacceptable.
“He did not pay me for the songs, and instead, he sent me to America,” she added, highlighting the financial discrepancies she faced.
The model’s discontent stems from a variety of issues, including unpaid dues for her contributions to the songs.
Her public outburst is a significant shift from the praise she once had for the artist, painting a picture of dissatisfaction and betrayal.
This revelation opens up a broader conversation about the treatment and compensation of artists in the entertainment industry.
