Saba Qamar’s love for acting propelled her from small roles to major roles, and her passion for the art was her sole motivator.
Reunited with her longtime friend and co-star Ahsan Khan on the first episode of his new YouTube series Lo Kar Lo Baat, the two went for a drive around Lahore and talked about their past professional relationship as well as Saba’s life experiences.
Ahsan Khan, how we’ve aged! Do you recall our initial collaboration project? Ahsan mentioned a previous telefilm project at the National College of Arts that the two actors worked on together, and Saba let out an exclamation.
The stars also spoke about a telefilm they had filmed in Abbottabad’s “picturesque hills,” during which the Baaghi actor confessed her love for one song before revealing a shocking revelation.
I really like the song from it that we performed on a hill,” revealed Saba. What a sweet tune! Back then, I was really infatuated with you, Ahsan.
” Even though longtime fans of the two performers have witnessed them frequently together on screen, there has never been any discussion about a possible romance.
Ahsan complimented the Udaari actress with an old anecdote when she mentioned how confident Saba was despite her lack of experience in the business.
“Recall that we performed in Dubai? We performed together at the 2015 Hum Awards, and I was quite anxious about the performance backstage. Saba told the story of her very first stage show.
You told me, Saba Qamar, “Who are you afraid of? They [the audience] are people just like you.” She revealed. “You must have something on stage if fate has placed you in this position where people are watching you from the seats below.
” Saba continued by describing how Ahsan’s counsel was insightful and transformed her life.
Over the course of their drive, they also discussed their mutual enthusiasm for work and Saba’s commitment to time.
“If I am signing a play with Saba, I get so stressed out,” Ahsan revealed, stating how he receives a call from the showrunners, inquiring what time he would reach the set because Saba always arrives before him.
After remarking on their friendship for fifteen years, Saba expressed her astonishment at how much time had passed and said,
“Thank God, our faces look decent [for our age]” before diving into a conversation about personal growth. “When a person is good from the inside, their face reflects that,” Ahsan continued.
The Cheekh actor went on to reveal her future plans which involve moving abroad and enrolling in film school to eventually direct her own film. “There’s so much to do, one life falls short.
I need to do something new every day. If your life doesn’t have aims or goals then what are you doing,” she stated. I’d rather choose death.
