The ongoing conflict between Pakistan and India has sparked intense debate across the entertainment industry, especially regarding celebrities who have chosen to remain silent or neutral. While public criticism has already targeted big names like Fawad Khan, Ayeza Khan, Yumna Zaidi, Wahaj Ali, Aima Baig, and Hania Aamir, actress Sana Nawaz also joined the discussion with a controversial statement. In a video shared by journalist Murtaza Views, Sana stated, “Artists have no boundaries; they are beyond borders and should spread love and positivity through their work.”
However, her remarks did not sit well with many Pakistanis. Social media users swiftly criticized her stance, calling it tone-deaf amid growing political tensions. Among the loudest voices of disapproval was actress Mishi Khan, who publicly addressed Sana Nawaz’s statement in a strongly worded video response.
Mishi Khan directly challenged Sana’s claim, asking, “If artists are truly beyond borders, why do you need a passport to travel? Just say you’re an artist and skip immigration then!” She urged Sana to abandon outdated narratives and emphasized that spreading love is not enough when a country’s sovereignty is at stake. Mishi stressed that artists must prioritize national loyalty over vague ideals of unity, especially when innocent civilians suffer from cross-border aggression.
Furthermore, Mishi drew attention to the unwavering patriotism displayed by Indian artists. Despite their military’s actions, they continue to support their country openly. She questioned why Pakistani celebrities can’t do the same. Though she acknowledged Sana as a friend, Mishi insisted it was necessary to correct her publicly for the sake of national integrity.
Fans appreciated Mishi Khan’s boldness and honesty. Many called her a true patriot and suggested she should represent Pakistan on international platforms. Her passionate response resonated with audiences who believe now is the time to take a stand.
