As the nation mourns, Pakistani celebrities are making their voices heard. They have turned to social media to condemn the blatant violation of sovereignty and the tragic loss of civilian lives. Their outrage grew stronger in response to the celebratory tone adopted by several Indian public figures who praised the attacks.
Indian actors such as Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Karan Johar, Sidharth Malhotra, and Sara Ali Khan publicly lauded their armed forces for what they called “precision strikes” and “acts against terrorism.” Yet, none of them acknowledged the innocent lives that were lost, adding insult to injury.
In sharp contrast, Pakistani artists have responded with heartbreak and resolve. Moreover, they are not only mourning the lives lost but also questioning the silence surrounding peace. For them, this isn’t just a political or military moment—it’s a deeply human one. They are calling out the insensitivity of Indian celebrities who chose applause over empathy.
In response, the ISPR confirmed that Pakistan’s defense forces have acted swiftly by shooting down 25 Indian drones since the attacks began, further signaling the nation’s readiness to protect its borders.
As tensions escalate, Pakistan’s artists continue to amplify calls for justice and humanity, reminding the world that civilian lives must never be collateral damage.

Actor Urwa Hocane strongly criticized prominent Indian actors for celebrating the recent airstrikes while blatantly ignoring the devastating human toll.
In her Instagram story, she wrote, “No one in Pakistan celebrated Pahalgam, despite the wrongful accusations. Yet, they celebrate killing our innocent children and women!” Cowards of the highest form!”
Moreover, Urwa didn’t shy away from addressing Bollywood’s consistent bias. She stated that every Indian film includes a few minutes of propaganda, slowly and steadily damaging Pakistan’s global image and perception. Reclaim your truth, self-respect, and loyalty!”
Meanwhile, as the situation intensifies, more celebrities are stepping forward. They have urged the public to initiate a full cultural boycott of Indian films, music, and celebrity content. Consequently, this call for action has gained strong momentum across social media.
Additionally, fans and influencers are echoing the same demand: stop supporting those who cheer for violence. Many believe that a clear boundary has now been crossed, and silence is no longer an option.

Actor Hina Altaf urged her followers to unfollow and unsubscribe from Indian celebrities and content, calling on Pakistanis to rethink their cultural admiration for those who remain silent or celebrate Pakistan’s suffering.
She expressed, “Pakistan condemns the loss of innocent lives, both in our homeland and yours. However, it is heartbreaking to see joy and celebration in the midst of the pain we are enduring.” Hina emphasized, “All I ask is for everyone to unfollow, unsubscribe, and distance themselves from ‘THEM.’ While some voices across the border push for war, we continue to advocate for peace. However, this can’t remain one-sided.”

Humayun Saeed emphasized Pakistan’s right to defend itself and the importance of honoring the victims.
In his story, he wrote, “India’s obsession with war and its cowardly attack on Pakistan has pushed our region to instability.”

She shared a post stating, “To all those celebrating ideas of revenge and victory, remember: lives are lost, livelihoods erased, and families torn apart! No one truly wins a war. Peace is the only solution! Wake up, #India #Pakistan.”
Talha Anjum:
Anjum paid a heartfelt tribute to the slain child and shared Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s statement, delivering a powerful message.
The rapper posted a picture of the child, writing, “Indian forces cowardly took 26 civilian lives in this attack, including 4 children. Meanwhile, Indian media will glorify this warmongering Modi government. My prayers are with the victims’ families. Pakistan Zindabad.”
In another post, he shared the Prime Minister’s words about the incident: “India’s heartless mockery of innocent lives lost in Pakistan will forever be remembered in history with shame.” Anjum urged everyone to “never forget!”
Hadiqa Kiani:
Singer Hadiqa Kiani once again called for peace, writing, “We need peace and stability. No more bloodshed. I pray for the innocent lives lost and for peace.”
She emphasized the urgent need for harmony and urged everyone to reflect on the devastation caused by the ongoing violence. With her message, she hoped to inspire a collective effort toward a peaceful resolution.

Singer Abdul Hannan penned a heartfelt note, emphasizing that many Pakistanis, including those from the music community, condemned the Pahalgam attack. Despite there being no direct evidence linking Pakistan to the incident, India launched an attack on Pakistan in the dead of night.
“The incident last night, which tragically led to the killing of a child, was both heartbreaking and inhumane,” he wrote. “I have always held my Indian audience in high regard. However, in times like these, it’s disheartening not to see the same empathy reflected across the border. While many of us spoke out against violence, it is deeply saddening to witness any form of celebration following such a tragedy.”
Abdul Hannan’s words express the sorrow and disbelief many feel, as they watch a conflict escalate without regard for the innocent lives caught in the crossfire.
