Nida Yasir, one of Pakistan’s most prominent TV hosts, continues to reign with her long-running morning show Good Morning Pakistan on ARY Digital. Known for her vibrant personality and candid on-air moments, Nida has also made her mark as a producer with hit projects like Chakkar, Mehrunissa V Lub U, Wrong Number, and Nadaniyan. She shares her life with husband Yasir Nawaz, an accomplished actor and director, and they have three children together.
Recently, Nida Yasir hosted a health-focused episode of her show, diving into the hot topic of weight loss. Joined by a fitness expert, Nida didn’t shy away from sharing her thoughts on the trending use of Ozempic, a diabetes medication now commonly used for quick weight loss. During the conversation, she referenced none other than Bollywood’s celebrated filmmaker Karan Johar.

Nida commented, “People who are on Ozempic look very lean and aged. Karan Johar is a perfect example—he looks so thin now, and everyone’s saying he has the ‘Ozempic face.’ He had a much healthier look before.” The trainer agreed, adding that Johar seems to have lost collagen and facial fat, which has caused noticeable sagging in his skin.
Reports claim Karan Johar has lost around 14 kilograms within four to six months. This dramatic change has sparked speculation that he’s using Ozempic to achieve the transformation. His before-and-after pictures have gone viral, prompting fans to comment on his altered appearance.

As weight loss fads continue to dominate social media, Nida’s remarks reflect growing concerns over extreme transformations. Her candid take added a relatable voice to the ongoing conversation about body image, health, and the pressure to look a certain way.
Clearly, the debate around rapid weight loss is far from over.
