Pakistani actress Hania Amir has addressed the abrupt end of her meet-and-greet event with fans in Dallas, USA. The sudden conclusion disappointed and confused many attendees. However, Hania took to Instagram to clarify the situation, accusing an event organizer of verbally abusing her manager and herself.

Known for her roles in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum and Ishqiya, Hania explained that the event had been proceeding smoothly until a backstage confrontation changed everything. She recounted how one of the organizers insulted her female manager, Maida Azmat, prompting Hania to intervene immediately. “Everyone saw videos of me walking into the crowd and taking pictures—it was all fine. But as I headed back to my seat, I heard one of the organizers abusing my manager,” she shared. “I confronted him, telling him he couldn’t speak to her like that. His aggression escalated to the point that security had to intervene.”

The situation worsened when the organizer chased Hania and her co-stars, including Fahad Mustafa, backstage. He called off security protocols and verbally assaulted the team further, forcing them to leave the event early. Hania described how their promoter, Arif Khan, quickly rushed them out to avoid further conflict. “We safely returned to our hotel, but the experience was deeply unsettling,” she explained.

In her Instagram statement, Hania firmly emphasized the importance of respect in professional settings. “No one has the right to disrespect others, especially in a workplace. Being in male-dominated fields doesn’t mean women will tolerate mistreatment,” she asserted.

Hania also criticized media outlets for their premature reporting. She expressed disappointment with journalists who blamed her without understanding the full story. “Journalism must uphold integrity. Blaming an artist without knowing the truth is irresponsible,” she said.

Ending her post, Hania apologized to her fans for the abrupt conclusion of the event. “I dearly love every single one of you. I’m sorry this happened, but sometimes we must endure difficult days,” she added.

The incident quickly drew support from fellow actors and industry professionals. Yashma Gill, Maya Ali, and Nabeel Qureshi reposted Hania’s statement, condemning the organizer’s behavior and expressing solidarity. Gill stated, “There is no place for disrespect in any industry,” reinforcing the collective stance against mistreatment.
