Born on September 21, 1926, in Kasur, Punjab, Noor Jehan came from a family of musicians, and her journey to greatness began at a young age. Over her illustrious career, Noor Jehan recorded nearly 10,000 songs in multiple languages, including Urdu, Punjabi, and Sindhi. Her voice not only entertained millions but also inspired them during challenging times. During the 1965 war, her patriotic songs lifted the spirits of both the Pakistan Army and the nation, making her a symbol of resilience and pride. Noor Jehan was also an accomplished actress, starring in classic films like Chan Way, Dopatta, Mirza Ghalib, Qaidi, Baaji, and Khandaan.
