Mamya Shajaffar Shares Details About Her Marriage and her Experience

Mamya Shajaffar, also known as Maham Shahid, is an emerging Pakistani model and actor. Mamya rose to fame through her popular soap serial Meesni which aired on Hum TV. Maham portrayed double role in Meesni. She played the main leads in Meesni.

Her on-screen pairing with Bilal Qureshi was liked by fans. Mamya is an art lover, she loves dancing, acting and painting.

Recently, fans are liking her in Jaan Se Pyara Juni which is airing on Hum TV. Mamya Shajaffar is happily married to Farooq Gul who is photographer, creative director and designer.

Mamya talked candidly about her marriage during a recent small talk with Rabia Mughni, the host of Fuchsia magazine. She also revealed the reason behind her 25-year-old marriage.

“I believe that my marriage was timed perfectly. When I tied the knot, I was 25 years old. I didn’t make a snap choice. We had already started our studies together and had been dating for three years.

My mother was really strict and used to tell me to get home by 10:00 pm, even if I didn’t want to. This is why I got married.

Then she proposed marriage to me. Okay! At the age of 25, I made the decision to be married. To bring Gul’s mother, I called. We were married within 10 days of the arrival of his mother.

After a straightforward nikah ceremony, we were nikahfied and headed to Fairy Meadows for our celebration.

We enjoyed a great reception at a gorgeous location, but Gul and I still dream of having a lavish wedding. Mamya Shajaffar added that her mother-in-law is an incredibly kind and encouraging person
